Our Founder:
Rangena Hotaki, Founder & CEO, Designovation Strategies, LLC.
With almost two decades of experience in strategy, IT, and operations consulting with expertise in the Federal, financial services, luxury, retail, and telecommunications industries, Rangena is looking to build, manage and grow a sustainable and successful business. She is passionate about driving strategy to enhance operations and deliver services that create customer-centricity and solve complex business challenges.
Rangena enjoys leveraging research, analysis, and industry insights to deliver and execute innovative methods, models, frameworks, and implementation roadmaps that solve complex client business problems. A mentee of the late great Clayton Christensen at Harvard, Rangena is well-versed in the theories of disruptive innovation. She came to embrace the principles of design thinking later on and found the combination of the two critical to evolving organizations. Rangena leads and inspires her team to deliver in a collaborative manner, coaching and mentoring professionals to achieve their career goals and deliver value.
Rangena has worked for strategy and technology consulting firms large and small. She holds a B.A. with majors in Economics & Spanish and minors in Biochemistry and Religious Studies from The University of Virginia and an MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School. She holds a certificate in Design Thinking from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Rangena lives in Vienna, Va with her husband Larry, their children, Samira & Rafiq, and a sweet labradoodle named Gigi.
